October Flower Updates

I do not know if its seasonal and perhaps because of Halloween, but our friends at the Brambles Florist pull out all the stops to get us some very different flowers this month. We always get top quality flowers to photograph from them, but there are some strange ones here today. One of my favourites is the dark red gerbera that looks as though its been through a shredder with spiky petals. One of the flowers that resembles buds on the end of two slender spikes is still opening. So I hope to get a second shoot out of them soon. So its a huge thanks to Chris and the ladies at the Brambles Florist and Flowers To Yours. You never cease to amaze me! And of course a big thanks to my assistant and wife Amy for her long sufferance and help.

September Flower Updates

Something a little different for this months flower pictures, in that there are no flowers. I thought that might be a problem when I realised this fact after visiting the Brambles Florist, but actually it turned out good. So there are no gerberas or roses this month, more shapes and textures like oak leaves and poppy heads. Thank then to Chris and the ladies at The Brambles Florist and Flowers To Yours. A thanks also to Amy for all her help.

June Flower Update

Lovely showing of flowers this month from our friends at Brambles Florist and Flowers To Yours. Amy added to it with a flower or two from the curb side she found on scrub ground. I don’t know if thats legal or not, but its not like cutting council planted daffodiles on a roundabout/

So thanks here must go out to Chris and the ladies at Brambles Florist and Flowers To Yours for their warm assistance. A shout out as well to Amy for her assistance.

March Flower Updates

We had another great selection of flowers to snap from our friends at The Brmbles Florist and Flowers To Yours. Including a lily that stunk the house out … in a nice way of course. I know the month has come to an end when I take flower images and a visit to the florist on the final friday of the month. Thanks then to Chris and his staff at The Bramble Florist and Flowers To Yours. A shout also to my wife Amy for her assistance on the shoot.

April Flower Updates

This month we have a few extras to show, along with the usual excellent selection I get from Brambles Florist. We also have an Amaryllis flower my parents gave me for this last Christmas and a twig full of blossom Amy picked out of the roadside. I have know idea what it is, but it photographs nicely. Due to the two fashion shoots I had this month, I had to photograph the flowers a good week before I normally would have. Thankfully Chris at Flowers To Yours was very understanding and allowed me to have a few of his finest a couple of weeks ago. The emphasis this month is more on shape and form rather than straight forward flowers. So slightly different, but still worth a look. Thanks then to Chris and Wendy at Flowers To Yours and Brambles Florist for their brilliant help. And a thank you also to Amy for assisting me photograph them.

Thanks this month to my wife Amy and a huge special thanks to Wendy at Brambles Florist for getting me some very delicate flowers I had asked for. I hope I can do them justice. Here is August flowers at the turn of another season. So lets see what next month brings us?
