Model Fashion Shoot introducing New Model 'Moyolistic'

The second shoot of the month took place in The Boardroom studio in Derby with another new model calling herself Moyolistic. She was the runner up in an African Beauty contest and was amazing in front of the camera. The shoot was set into two half's with the first half being a more ethereal look with a wedding vail and peonies provided by my friend Chris at Flowers To Yours. Colour graded blue in Capture One and Photoshop the set is titled 'Délicate,' and has its own sideshow to compliment it.

The second part of the shoot was based around the Panton Colour of the Year which is Yellow, so all things yellow were in employ. The original pictures were a lot darker, but I warmed it up in editing to gain a pleasing result. Thanks then to model Moyolistic for being great. Thanks also to Shadrine at Ka'Vour Beauty for her amazing makeup as always and to studio owner Phil for the use of his pad. Enjoy the results.

As I am sure your all aware there is no model shoots until February 2021, covid permitting. But I do need to round up this years meagre offerings with a slideshow. My first shoot back after the Covid-19 lockdown and I am pleased to welcome lovely model, Divya Ram who won an Indian Beauty Queen contests a year or so a go. This was also the first shoot with new makeup artist Shadrine from Ka’Vour Beauty. Both ladies were brilliant and we got some great pictures. It was a bad weather day for July and I wasn’t that well on the day - but we got it done. So thank you to them and to Amy for her help

I had a shoot all lined up with my friend Lee Henshaws girlfriend Roxie at his studio. I had to rearrange the times due to it clash with the funeral of Monalisa’s mother. So we ran a bit late. I had taken some inspiration from a shoot by Lindsay Adler in New York, but I think I got the wrong materials for the job and it proved impossible. Still I quite liked the results we got from it, sadly I don’t think the model does. Oh well … you can’t win them all …. Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you. …. Thanks anyway to model Roxie, to Lee Henshaw and to wonderful hair and makeup artist Karen Hegarty MUA.

Welcome to the first studio shoot of the year starting off with model for all seasons, Tyler Dyce. This was an Avant-Garde themed shoot which for the most part worked, that was until one of the lights blow up. We had to go back to a mixture of natural light and fresnel for a portrait session. Tyler was brilliant as always and brought her boyfriend along to the shoot which was great as he turned out very helpful on set as well as being a genuinly nice guy. So thanks to model Tyler Dyce. To makeup artist Karen Hegarty MUA. To Angelo and to Lee Henshaw for his studio. A special thanks also to my wife Amy for her little fashion creation she made for Tyler. I really appreciate that.
